The trailer for “Chhava,” featuring Vicky Kaushal in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has been officially released. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Diana Penty, and Akshaye Khanna in significant roles.

The trailer offers a glimpse into the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Vicky Kaushal portrays the Maratha ruler with a compelling display of intensity, courage, wisdom, and strength as he confronts the Mughal forces. Rashmika Mandanna, portraying Maharani Yesubai, the spouse of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, delivers a noteworthy performance.

Akshaye Khanna takes on the role of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, presenting a ruthless character determined to dismantle the Maratha empire.

“Chhava” is scheduled for theatrical release on February 14.

The film depicts the bravery of Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, illustrating his embodiment of the four fundamental elements of nature: earth, fire, water, and air.

This period drama also includes performances by Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Neil Bhoopalam, Santosh Juvekar, and Pradeep Rawat in pivotal roles. The music for the film has been composed by AR Rahman, and “Chhava” is produced by Maddock Films.
