JD Vance's first visit in the Oval Office, Trump plays tour guide.

JD Vance had not previously visited the Oval Office before assuming the role of Vice President under Donald Trump. His inaugural entry into the President’s executive office occurred after he took the oath of office. Upon entering the Oval Office, Vance appeared visibly impressed, a moment captured on video.

The footage was shared by Speaker Mike Johnson on X, who remarked, “Only in America can a hardworking young man from Appalachia rise from his humble circumstances to enter the Oval for the first time as VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.”

In the video, Trump and Vance are seen approaching the Oval Office, with Trump leading the way. He paused at the entrance, inviting them to enter before proceeding inside.

“Wow,” Vance exclaimed as he crossed the threshold. He surveyed the room and remarked, “This is incredible.”

Following their oath ceremony, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance convened with Republican leaders at the White House. During this gathering, JD Vance noted that he had never set foot in the Oval Office before, as mentioned by Mike Johnson.

“I informed him and President Trump that I HAD to capture the moment on video,” Johnson stated.

Vance is recognized as the first millennial vice president in U.S. history. His contributions during the presidential campaign garnered Trump’s commendation and a special mention in the victory speech.

Trump characterized the 40-year-old first-term Senator as a “feisty guy” who confronts his adversaries directly, praising Vance’s loyalty and tenacity.
